Our Philosophy

“All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learnt in Kindergarten… These are the things learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don’t hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don’t take things that aren’t yours. Say sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and milk are good for you. Live a balanced life- learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work everyday some. Take a nap every afternoon. A day at Prishti

9. am- Kids breeze into Prishti, eagerly greeting teachers and rushing off to their class. Each class is set with Learning Corners. Students choose any corner of their choice and loose themselves in a world of imagination.

9.30 am- Assembly time.

All the classes gather together. We begin with our Morning Prayer songs, school song followed by rhymes and action songs! We wind up with the national anthem.Each day we have different activities -Yoga, Riddles, Story time, Puppetry, Games, Drama...

Physical Activities- Sand pit play, Park, Trampoline jumping, Ball games, Water-play Aerobics...

10.00 am- Outdoor Play.

10.30 am- Wash-up / Toilet/ Snack Break

10.50- Theme activities

Learning takes place through exploration and discovery in our nature walks.

Math activities
Done with hands on exploration and Montessori manipulatives.

11.10- Language activities (Listening /Speaking/Pre-reading/ Pre-writing)

11.40- Creative Hands
Drawing/ Painting/ Craft work

12.10- Circle Time/ Show and Tell/ Learning manipulatives

12.30- Home Time
